The high school of Jen is going to put on Romeo and Juliet for the school play.
Jen is casted to play Juliet...and part of Romeo..is played by the boy she hates the most; Chris Banner. A guy from a family Jen's family has trouble with.(yes, just like the families in the story Romeo and Juliet). A popular in school, Misha is spreading bad rumors about Jen, and that leads to the day that Jen's part of Juliet is taken over by..Misha, and trouble between Jen and her best friend Reuben. When rehearsing for the play, the tension between Jen and Chris grows, in the way that Jen and Chris are falling in love! But with two familie who hate eachother for something that happened a long time ago, is their love a good thing?
Star Crossed is the debut of the sixteen year-old author Rachaeal Wing.
The whole story of Star Crossed is written in the way that makes you imagine that YOU are in the shoes of Jen, the main charachter of the book, wich makes most of the sentences start with the 'you'' point of view.
The story is like most teen/school novels, but this book made it original because of the point of view, wich is seldom used in ya novels. I didn't read a book before with this! A quick romantic teen story wich you will finish in a day, good!
